A Center for the Arts presents and produces theater, dance, music, film, visual arts exhibits and literary events year-round. In addition to a local orchestra, community theater, children’s theater and children’s choir, the organization is host to such groups as Riders In the Sky, The Nylons (on front cover), The Bobs and Leo Kottke. This renovated vaudeville house, with its original Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ, which continues to be heard on special occasions, has become an ambient space that still resonates its acoustical attributes from tthe early 1920s. Special things happen when you bring artists and audiences together at A Center for the Arts. Come and see for yourself. Open year-round, Monday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Tuesday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
